"Wii" as a training tool?
Each post that actually the whole blog, were built only on my personal opinion. Just once I want to lean out the window and claim that games consoles can be used as a training tool. Of course, some are limited to training, as I understand it.
In my case I use the Wii from Nintendo (no, unfortunately I get no sponsored) which I got from my loved ones for Christmas. As a triathlete you have in the Trainingsgestalltung indeed a nice change. Between them is to take place regeneration. This important period of physical recreation is with me in the past Years to come up to short. Too high ambition and motivation were to treat once a break. Now I got the Wii at home, which use really made this regeneration time and I it also can use the same sense. In 99% of the time I carry out a specific muscle training and but also to improve one's body feeling and the important body balance . Since I specifically on the Wii (Wii Fit with Balance Board) train my back pain are many times become less and my support, abdominal and back muscles better.
Conclusion: The Wii as a training tool works great for me and I do not want to miss.

approaching Spring and training volume is increased. Status: Regular biking, swimming, and now twice a week running.
Running works beautifully, practically concern. Before, I had treated my knee problems with warming Pain Relief. Success was, however. Now I have again been struggling with rising knee pain. In the literature we read many opinions. But what is to treat the pain in the center of the kneecap is cold. So I once followed this approach and placed on emerging pains Cool Pack. It cost me a lot to overcome this cold thing to have on my body. But this was a true success: The next day I had only a slight irritation, and the next day nothing was felt. Cool!

Yesterday I finally had the swimming training. What can I say, it's just frustrating to always be a residue behind. In the last units I've always tried first to make up the deficit and restore the connection.
Well, technically I realize more and more things are and the implementation does not seem impossible. But I lack regular training and the necessary condition. 200m at a good pace to take me to my limits, so I pause briefly, until I can swim further. Here waiting a very large piece of work on me! Otherwise, I will complete the 1.5 km probably only as a U-boat.
I've also stepped up the running training again, I want to know my limits very well. So I am on Monday in the University Hospital of Sports Medicine agreed to lactate. Two hours will take a health check and hopefully give me insight how I can improve my training.

The year 2011 brings me up to now not very much luck in the training plan. Current annoy me a sore throat and fatigue. Last week, me (the whole family including children and grandmothers) set a stomach virus ko. The result was a nasty surprise on the scale: 69.1 kg to 180 cm.
Today is the first day that I feel fit again. The household Muscle training and balance and coordination training, I have resumed. Now I will enter again this week to the regular running and back into the swimming pool diving.
only hope that my body has finally mobilized enough defenses and reasonably fit me until my first competition brings.

A new year has started and the Christmas cookies are eaten. Fortunately, even if it tasted very good. But now it is to recall to his goals and enter back into training. Cycling, swimming and a little run I run so well in winter. Just this winter I have unfortunately become the laziest guy. Far too often I put on my running shoes. This I want to change and train on my first half marathon. When this will be, I decide soon.
A large truck, which acts against an athlete is counterproductive, my "addiction" to sweets. This will I reply with a new strategy. I allow myself another cup of coffee a day, namely in the morning for breakfast. Otherwise there is no coffee during the day and "nothing" more sweet!
Today was my first day, which I did very well gemneistert. With green tea, and to a freshly squeezed lemon was quite easy. There was a lot of granola bars and fruit are also at that.
I hereby ask all friends and relatives to support me in my, hard for me projects! An offering of cakes or sweets from me is regarded as sabotage and abgeschmettert with unfriendly gestures. Please help me:)

a topic which occupied me for some time, is the scanning and processing of old "analog" images. So I accidentally found a picture of me from 1981 (May) and this also edited.
The original is scanned at 300dpi, cropped and scaled been.
befidet These include the edited version. Here I have made a Levels, sharpened it a bit. Then the noise was reduced somewhat and removed a few dust grains. Finally, I've increased the contrast medium and stored as JPEG.

Schwimmtrainig: Update
Yesterday I was again, when after two weeks of rest, swim training. Since I never really felt fit and always had the feeling auszufassen a common cold, I schohnte me.
Compared to my swimming mates / in I came with good, without a large deficit. Only my breathing problem I still create. After six lengths wearing and I have to take a few deep breaths. It seems that I start with the air blowing out too late for my oxygen deficit increases with each length. I have now switched from the 2-train on a 3-train. Here I have the feeling to get along with my air better. It was in open water also has the advantage of Mutual looking up, keep better orientation.
Furthermore I had with my coach about Trainigsziel a detailed conversation. Here clearly was a further problem for the language, my involuntary arm movement. The arm above the water should be loose and run under water. This movement I have not mastered yet. As the well, I'm busy, not to drink ;-)

Now it was again a few days of quiet here. The reason for this is the new design. Long I was thinking, now I come to a good compromise. The finishing touches are still drag on longer, but it is presentable now already.
This blog is my slipped lately pretty. In school, we would say that about misconduct. Now I will put more focus back to make my training a little more to the fore, what the motivation is doing good. And keep in the photography section must clearly back more quality influence!
is why this blog is my daily misery patch and a quasi Trainigsprotokoll. For high guality quality photos, hopefully I'll like this succeed, I will call their own photo blog to life. I post the link to a later date.

Hello Kitty Ankle Bracelets

Today Sunday took advantage of We, the spring-like weather for a family outing. Our goal was called "castle". So we started the morning on the way to Salzburg and walked comfortably in the sun. Also a playground we visited.
At lunchtime we sat down in the direction of "Stiegl Bräu" in motion. On the next screen, we look to the east. You can see the left is a part of the Hotel Sacher in the center of the state bridge and at the right edge of the fortress. (Stiegl Bräu is highly recommended)
After an "excellent" meal, we were an after-dinner walk in and went to the Salzach river. Our goal, the fortress and the church area in the foreground, came closer to us.
